The mission of the Family Health Center is to improve the health and well-being of traditionally underserved and culturally diverse people in the Greater Worcester area. we relize this mission by providing high quality and accessible primary health care for both individuals and families through a "family practice" model of care. This means that every patient is seen in the context of his/her family, culture and community. The Family Health Center believes in the importance of reaching out to all family members to best ensure continuity of care for both adults and children. The Family Health Center's mission supports the training f family practice physicians, as a site for the University of Massachusetts Medical School Family Practice Residency Program since 1974.
