Centro Bienestar San Jose is a ministry of St. Joseph's Parish and strives to address the cultural, linguistic, physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of "la familia."

Description

Centro Bienestar San Jose, located in a historic 1908 red brick building, was re-opened as a community center in March of 1998. The former St. Joseph's school building has been transformed into a family center offering services that improve the well-being of the largely hispanic community. Club Homework is one of the services offered by the center, and works with students from Baker Middle School to enhance academic achievement in the areas of math, social studies, and language arts.
