To create art, cultural and communication bridges of Latinos and the community at large, by promoting participation, leadership and educational activities. Our motto is UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY.

Description

HoLa is a volunteer-based organization best known for the HoLa Festival, which has been celebrated in Knoxville for 12 years. Other Hispanic Heritage Month activities include the Latino Art Exhibit and Hispanic Book Day. HOLA Volunteers work year round to get ready for this event that attracts 20,000 people.

We have recently found our "first home" at the Emporium Center, downtown Knoxville, and it is called CASA HOLA. Visit us on First Friday to see a cultural presentation or Latino art exhibit. Come to CINEMA at CASA HOLA to practice Spanish and learn about a country and its culture. Get involved with our many projects involving traditional arts, cultural events, and education.
