Mission Statement

Paper Crane Music is a small arts organization, operating in Berkeley since 1987, directed by Betsy Rose (singer, writer, song leader, and community activist) dedicated to bringing the power , healing, and joy of song and community singing to adults and children in Berkeley and throughout the Bay Area. Our mission is to restore to children and adults a vital relationship to music making and song, in particular continuing the historic tradition of group singing in times of struggle, war, and liberation.
