Mission Statement

Sri Sarveshwari Samooh is a meeting place for those people who gather together to try to solve the problems and difficulties facing them day to day, not only in their personal lives but in the greater society. The Samooh is an organization of persons who have the desire to practice devotion, cultivate virtue, and to be of help to others in the spirit of service without pomp or show.

Description

In guiding the activities of the Samooh, the Board of Directors has adopted the following 7-point program; the aim of the Samooh is to provide: 1. A sancuary, an oasis of peace and harmony. 2. An Aghor Yoga school. 3. Morning and evening meditation. 4. Publications of the teachings of the Agoreshwar. 5. Samooh Relief Fund projects: (Little Star School - a school for street children & student housing/orphanage on ashram site, both in Varanasi, India) 6. Programs to address the needs of the greater community. 7. An opportunity for all to be part of the Samooh community, to participate in its daily life and ongoing growth, and to share in one another's spiritual development.
