Mission Statement

To cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Description

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Light The Night Walk is an annual event to raise funds for cures. It's the nation's night to pay tribute and bring hope to thousands of patients and their families.

Funds raised through Light The Night Walk support the work of hundreds of the world's best and brightest researchers in their search for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

The Triad Light The Night Walk will be held October 10, 2009 at Country Park in Greensboro.

Volunteers are needed to assist with check-in, set-up, food, registration, balloons, greeters/safety, cheering squad, and clean up. The time commitment varies for each position, contact the volunteer coordinator for more information!
