Mission Statement

Montana's GEAR UP Project is designed to provide equal access and educational treatment for all students, parents and teachers, with an emphasis on reaching under-represented participant groups. Reaching this goal involves a three-pronged approach, one of which is providing early college awareness and preparation services to students and their parents beginning at the 7th grade level.

Description

The Office of the Commissioner of Higher Education sponsors both the Montana GEAR UP Program, and the GEAR UP AmeriCorps*VISTA Project.
