Mission Statement

What does the MCE PTA do?

Our PTA plans and produces a variety of fundraisers and events throughout the school year such as the Golf

Tournament, Fall Festival, Holiday Event, Spring Event, Family Fun Nights, Faculty & Staff Appreciation Week, Meet the Artist and Helping Hands. The MCE PTA organizes these wonderful events which directly provide for educational supplies, books, technology, teacher workshops, and teacher support.

During the 2008‐2009 school year we were able to help fund items such as a new curriculum for our music program, projectors, document cameras, CPS clicker sets, and digital cameras for our classrooms.

During the 2009‐2010 school year the PTA will continue to support the numerous programs and events for the school.

The PTA raises money for this through our membership drive and a variety of fundraisers. This money is used to improve our school where county and/or state funding is not available.
