Mission Statement
To provide practical and applicable knowledge of the role of media and emerging technologies in international settings, providing the basis for other non-profit groups to increase their effectiveness, particularly in the developing world.
Description
ICMS integrates research, training, reporting, and follow-up to provide comprehensive analysis of needs, opportunities and existing resources within indigenous communities. People who would otherwise have little opportunity to express themselves to the developed world are given voice through our activities. Organizations that seek to serve these populations are given the knowledge necessary for effective program planning, and the evaluation necessary to judge the effectiveness of these programs. Comprehensive understanding of the rapid changes in technology, and their applications in differing contexts, also allows organizations using ICMS services to effectively use new means of communication to leverage their work and improve delivery of services.
