The mission of C.A.R.E. is reduce the incidence of homeless and abused animals, assist in spaying and neutering and to provide community outreach.

Description

C.A.R.E. is the southcoasts newest no-kill animal shelter in New Bedford. We work to shelter abandoned and stray animals, assist with re-homing, provide medical care, spay/neutering, community education and outreach on the plight of animals, help community members problem solve issues with animals and referral

C.A.R.E. acts as a safety net for animals who may not be considered good canditates for a typical municipal shelter setting.

You need to really love animals and be reliable. There are amy different opportunities in the shelter besides direct animal care.
