Description

Light The Night is Western North Carolina 's night to pay tribute and bring hope to blood cancer patients and their families. It is a fundraising campaign that culminates in a two- mile evening walk where participants literally "light the night" by carrying illuminated balloons - white for cancer patients and survivors and red for supporters. The walkers' balloons create an amazing visual awareness throughout our community. Funds raised through Light The Night support the work of hundreds of the world's best and brightest researchers in their search for better therapies and cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma

Amazing!!! My child has been fighting Leukemia for the last 18mths, and this organization presents a beautiful evening to raise awareness and funds to fight this disease. I have seen first hand how the funds raised have gone to the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society and our family has benefited directly. So thanks to everyone who has walked before and PLEASE join in if you are looking for a place to make a difference!! Thanks. Mother Miller
