The Hermann Park Conservancy is a citizens' organization dedicated to the stewardship and improvement of Hermann Park - today and for generations to come.

Description

Hermann Park, presented to the City of Houston by George Hermann in 1914, is one of Houston's most popular and historically significant public green spaces. Located in the heart of Houston, the 445-acre park has been an important resource for citizens of Houston for generations, and is celebrated as a place that has always welcomed diversity and fostered a strong sense of community among its patrons.

The ease with signing up and registering at the run/walk was simple and being assigned to a place to assist was also easy. Seeing that I signed up close to the event date, I was pleased to be apart of the event as a volunteer. It was good to see persons promote care of the park's conservation. At the Park, Kim

This park is a huge asset to the Houston community. It has outdoors activities for all and it's right in the heart of the city. It's really an amazing place!
