Mission Statement
Since 1976, St. Joseph Center has provided Hope Through Empowerment to low income and homeless men, women and children. Sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, the center is a non-profit community organization that assists people through its comprehensive case management and integrated social service programs. Its mission is to be a caring presence in the neighborhood, attentive to the changing survival needs of poor and marginalized persons. Through its programs and services, the Center provides crisis intervention and long-term solutions that nurture hope, self-reliance, and well-being in individuals and families. Respect for the dignity of each person is the cornerstone of the Center's mission. Staff and volunteers make every effort to provide a welcoming, safe place where all persons are treated with compassion and dignity.
Description
St. Joseph Center is a multi-social service agency providing emergency services, case management and educational programming to homeless and low-income individuals and families. From infants to seniors, they provide Hope Through Empowerment.
