HOBY is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization. We plan and execute leadership seminars for high school sophomores.

HOBY has been empowering young leaders for over 50 years. The HOBY leadership seminar is a dynamic, hands-on program designed to recognize and develop leadership potential in outstanding sophomores. Each year every high school in Southern California is invited to nominate students to attend the seminar based upon that student's leadership potential. Our seminar is designed to teach young leaders how to think, not what to think through curriculum focused on improving critical thinking skills, enhancing leadership skills, developing goal-setting skills and realizing the importance of community leadership through community service.
