Mission Statement

The Senior Companion Program's mission is to create part-time, stipended volunteer community service opportunities for low-income persons aged 60 and over to provide supportive person to person services to assist adults in living healthy, happy and independent for as long as possible.

Description

The Senior Companion program gives seniors a way to stay active and volunteer in their community with out any cost to themselves. The extra $200.00 that they can make a month is tax exempt and doesn't effect their housing, ssi, medicare etc.
