Mission Statement

The 2nd Annual Disability Awareness Day (DAD) is a celebration of diversity, awareness, and empowerment for persons with differing abilities. DAD allows the opportunity for the entire community to learn the many challenges people with disabilities encounter on a daily basis. The event provides persons with differing abilities and their families the necessary information and resources to overcome those barriers.

Description

This event will be held on Thursday, October 8th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and workshops begin at 8:30 a.m.
