Mission Statement

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release native wildlife that has been harmed or displaced; to treat and place certain needy domestic, exotic and farm animals; and to educate the public toward coexistence with all animals.

Description

This past year, we admitted nearly 14,000 animals and educated thousands of school children in South Florida. Our facility includes an operating room, ICU, rehabilitation area, state-of-the-art nursery and dozens of enriched habitats. With two full-time ambulances, 70 employees and nearly 600 volunteers, the SPCA Wildlife Care Center, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is the largest facility of its kind in the U.S. and the only one of its kind in South Florida.
