Mission Statement

The ASMF is committed to promoting, encouraging advancement of, and continuing support of music for all youngsters, whether or not their learning takes place in public or private schools, home-schooled or faith-based schools. Part of our commitment is to bring music, in all of its genres, including music of many origins and cultures to our youth and to promote an appreciation of the range and multiplicity of music.

Description

It is the belief of ASMF that music creates bridges across diverse cultures and communities, therefore the ASMF remains committed to continuing the fund as a resource to help students obtain access to music lessons and purchase or rental of instruments and giving our youth the opportunity to make and perform music with others for others.
