Mission Statement

The National Kidney Foundation, Inc., a major voluntary health organization, seeks to prevent kidney and urinary tract diseases, improve the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases, and increase the availability of all organs for transplantation.

The NKFK is a non-profit 501(c)(3) voluntary health organization serving Kentucky and southern Indiana through a three point program of patient & community education, patient assistance and research. We are volunteer driven, solely dependent on funds raised through individual and corporate contributions, workplace campaigns, memorials, grants, special events, and bequests.

Would you recommend National Kidney Foundation of Kentucky?

by Sarah C. (May 11, 2011)
The NKF is a great organization. I worked a 'Life is Cool' event and got to teach over 200 4th and 5th graders about how important kidneys are. It is a great non-profit to volunteer for and I would definitely recommend it!
