Description

This organization is a library friends group dedicated to the Edendale Branch of the Los Angeles Public Library. Our mission is to enhance the library experience for our community, neighbors and stakeholders. We are located in Echo Park-Silverlake neighborhoods of Los Angeles on the corner of Sunset Blvd at Alvarado. Echo Park- Silverlake is a multi-cultural, gentrifying, highly artistic community characterized by strong neighborhood cohesion. It is steeped in unique Los Angeles history.

Edendale Branch Library capitalizes on the many artists, writers and musicians in our area by offering art exhibits, free summer concerts and author events. The large number of local published writers is reflected in the local author section in Edendale's book stacks.
