Mission Statement

All volunteer technical rescue squad serving Montgomery, Elmore, Lowndes, Bullock and Macon Counties. These services include drownings, lost person searches, hurricane and tornado damage and animal rescues. MCSAR is an integral part of the Montgomery County Emergency Planning Committee, Alabama Association of Rescue Squads and the National Association for Search and Rescue.

Description

Montgomery County Search And Rescue Inc., is an all-volunteer, non-profit rescue squad primarily serving central Alabama. Volunteers come from all backgrounds and socio-economic groups. MCSAR averages about 100 calls each year. Meetings are held each Thursday night beginning at 7pm at our station located at 5100 Woodley Road, Montgomery. Visitors are welcome to attend.
