Mission Statement

To preserve, interpret, and share the maritime heritage of the Great Lakes.

Description

MHA is a 27-year-old volunteer organization that builds, maintains, and sails traditional wooden vessels. We have 10,000 sq ft of shop space and over 30 boats in our fleet, both sail and power. We also host the Michigan Schooner Festival in Traverse City in September.
