Mission Statement

Doug Biviano is running for City Council because we need to reform the corrupt system of political patronage and kickbacks to developers that has plagued the 33rd District of Brooklyn for far too long.Doug is a civil and eenvironmental engineer by trade, not a politician, and he understandsthe needs of our infrastructure and our communities. As the only public school parent in the race, Doug vows to stand up for our public schools and put teachers and parents back in control of curriculum. And he believes local healthcare reform is the single most pressing issue affecting our families and our economy. Our current for-profit healthcare system threatens our longterm economic prosperity and costs us lives and jobs at the local level. Doug will stand up for the people of the 33rd District, and he urges you to join his movement for real reform.
