Mission Statement

The Ft. Jackson International Military Student Office (IMSO) is a unique organization designed to "Win the Hearts and Minds" of foreign militaries and encourage relationship building through direct interaction of foreign military students and American people and cultural groups.

Description

At present, our organization estimates approximately 80 students per year coming from countries in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South America, Africa and Asia.

Our goal is to find sponsors for these students during the time they are in America. Sponsors invite the students into their homes and may take them on family type trips, sporting events, etc. The purpose is to help the students have an authentic cultural experience during their stay.

Our office is currently recruiting for sponsors. If you would like to be a part of this unique opportunity to make a global impact in your community, please contact the Ft. Jackson IMSO office.
