The Children's Cancer Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing children who have cancer or chronic blood disorders and their families with the educational, emotional, and financial assistance necessary to cope with their life-threatening illnesses.
With 24 programs designed to help families dealing with childhood cancer, the Children's Cancer Center believes that it's not just the child who has been diagnosed, but the whole family. Emotional and educational support are lent to all members of the family affected, including the patient, siblings, parent, grandparents and caretakers.
While other organizations are focused on finding a cure and creating hope for the future, the Children's Cancer Center is dedicated to helping families through this devastating experience one day at a time. All funds raised by our organization go directly to the 600+ families in the Greater Tampa Bay area who are fighting childhood cancer.
The Children's Cancer Center is there for support whether a family is currently undergoing treatment, lost their battle or have moved on to the survivorship stages of their journey. In addition, support is extended to families who have a child with a chronic blood disorder in the Tampa Bay area.
