Vision Statement
To improve the physical and psychosocial well-being of persons living with HIV/AIDS in central Arkansas and to prevent the spread of HIV in the region.

The purpose of the AAF is to provide compassionate client-centered HIV/AIDS services for eligible people living with HIV/AIDS and to promote HIV prevention, education, and testing in vulnerable populations.

Description

The Arkansas AIDS Foundation (AAF) is a non-profit organization that is in the forefront in conducting innovative programs for people with AIDS. AAF provides services to over 500 clients in Pulaski, Lonoke, and Prairie counties. Our district makes up 35% of all diagnosed HIV cases and 35% of all AIDS cases in Arkansas. The AAF has been providing services since 1992 Core Support Services are provided by a Grant funded by the Ryan White Care Act and distributed by the Arkansas Department of Health. Networking is done with all major hospitals, other HIV/AIDS service organizations, and all social service organizations involved in HIV/AIDS related activities throughout the state of Arkansas.
