To provide children and adults with disabilities with the same recreational opportunities offered to people without disabilities, in an unstructured environment.

Description

The Parents Association owns and operates Shady Oaks Camp. The camp is situated on 35+ acres of land in Lockport, Illinois. Length of stay for campers is 2-8 weeks. The PA does not receive any government funding, all of the approx. 200,000 it cost to run camp for 8 weeks is raised by the members and private donations.
