Mission Statement

Solano College Theatre is dedicated to education and community building through the art of live theatre. We are committed to training the next generation of theatre professionals and entertain our audiences by producing the highest caliber stage productions. SCT's goal ultimately, is to engage, excite and enrich the imagination.

SYT is the award-winning youth division of Solano College's celebrated conservatory theatre training program. Surrounded by dedicated educators and industry professionals, young people from all around Solano County participate in quality productions, workshops and classes. Programming is designed to strengthen communication skills, promote team building, supplement teacher's classroom efforts and promote theatre arts. Over 700 students perform annually in one of SYT's two theatres for over 12,000 audience members. SYT's treasured parent volunteers provide over 4,800 hours of support annually.
