Mission Statement

The Arts Council of Chester County, founded in 1973, continues its mission to encourage arts appreciation in the community. Through unique art events, monthly exhibits & receptions, performance art events, and visual art events we strive to bring art and all its benefits to the county of Chester and beyond.

Description

The Arts Council of Chester County is located in the heart of historic downtown Chester, South Carolina. The ACCC is governed by one Director and a Board of Directors. We offer monthly exhibits and receptions for local or regional artists, unique art events (including the famed Southern Porch & Garden Party in the spring of each year), and a variety of art classes. In addition, we also offer numerous performance art and visual art events.
