Eyerly Ball is the premier resource for high quality mental health services. We are a community based psycho-social service that is responsive to community needs. We offer a variety of mental health services including assessments, outpatient counseling and therapy, case management, in-home services, residential services, and outreach programs. Eyerly Ball is dedicated to helping people recover from mental illness and lead productive and fulfilling lives.
Eyerly Ball Residential Living consists of two transitional living homes that provide 24-hour supervision for 15 residents in each home. The homes are located at 940 Cummins Parkway and 5631 Francis Avenue in Des Moines. Our program goals are:
- to provide quality care to our residents
- to provide the least restrictive living environment
- to assist residents in reaching their individual goals so they may live a more satisfying life
Emphasis at EBR is on Recovery. Staff assists residents to learn skills necessary for recovery and independent living. Residents can develop skills such as cooking, budgeting, anger management, hygiene, cleaning, social skills, learning community resources, and medication management. Our qualified staff assists clients in achieving their individual goals.
