Mission Statement

Safe Harbor Farm K-9 Rescue & Rehabilitation Center rescues, rehabilitates and carefully rehomes Pekingese, Shih Tzu, Chihuahuas, Dobermans and select mixes, including Golden Retriever mixes and terrier mixes. It is also home to 74 cats, 10 goats and several ducks & chickens. Volunteer-driven, our Center utilizes Cesar's Way, and our dogs are happy, healthy and well-behaved as a result.

Description

Safe Harbor Farm is located on 61 acres adjacent to the Croatan National Forest in Maysville, NC.
Most of our dogs come from high-kill municipal shelters. All are groomed, vaccinated and very well socialized prior to adoption. You can tour our shelter online at www.safeharborfarm.org.
