Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate local, state and national organizations serving the disbled as to the importance of Guardians for persons with Special Needs over 18 years of age.

We have suggested a sensible and affordable method towards this goal, and seek to build grassroots support of providing equal rights to those who cannot speak for themselves.

U.S. Congressman Ted Deutch (D-FL-19th Cong. District), introduced our Special Needs Tax Credit Bill to the House of Representaives in 2011, and reintroduced as HR 1597. Visit www.thomas.gov, search by Bill number HR 1597.

Description

With almost zero dollars, we have created a Florida nonprofit organzation and have authored a Congressional Bill, introduced in Congress in 2011, that will provide a federal tax credit of $5,000. for legal and other professional fees associated with establishing legal guardianship for an adult with disabilities.
