Mission Statement

Mission SF Community Financial Center is the non-profit affiliate of Mission SF Federal Credit Union, a community development financial institution serving the San Francisco Bay Area. The purpose of Mission SF Community Financial Center (Mission SF) is to expand economic opportunity and access to quality financial services for low-income youth and families, primarily in the Mission District, where there is the highest concentration of predatory fringe outlets in San Francisco.

Description

Mission SF prevents these challenges by creating new innovative financial products and programs tailored to meet the needs of low-income low-wealth individuals; reduces the use of high-cost fringe outlets; and engages members of the community in savings accounts, financial education and counseling, quality emergency loans and credit-building opportunities to get them on a path to financial security.
