Mission Statement

The StarTree Foundation: The goal of KOCI-LPFM, 101.5FM non-profit public radio is to provide locally-based entertainment, informational and promotional programming. KOCI broadcasts exclusively to Orange County. 101.5FM Newport Beach is Independently owned! KOCI is a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit. We will strive for a programming and marketing approach that is more tailored, accessible and community-oriented. We will serve as both a source of the best in contemporary musical artistry and entertainment, as well as a valuable community and regional information resource. We seek to enhance awareness of our area's unique coastal environment and amenities. In addition, provide a variety of promotional services on area activities, events, entertainment, and civic issues related to community services. To achieve these objectives, KOCI will strive to build creative partnerships with civic leaders, educational decision makers, community service organizations and the business community through innovative programming. Most importantly, we will provide direct financial and promotional support as well as accountability for our own educational / charitable program, "Life Changes for Kids."
