Sounds of Heaven is a non-profit, faith based organization. We strive to maintain a continuous effort to reach and uplift all people. Our efforts are directed towards not only those in need around our local communities, but of those nationwide. We believe that it is better to give without measure and that all walks of life are entitled to assistance without predjudice.

Description
In order to fulfull our directive, we have joined an array of talent that through music and entertainment will unite in achieving our goal of blessing others.
On Friday, October 2nd, 2009 , at Cal-Expo 1400 Exposition blvd Gate 9. Starts at 10pm Sounds of Heaven will be hosting a catered event combined with the soulful sounds of a live jazz band. This evening get together will be designed to inform our community's business leaders about the urgent necessity of raising funds to save the "Winter Shelter of Sacramento". This shelter was created by Volunteers of America in collaboration with our mayor Kevin Johnson to provide a safe haven and protect our city's less fortunate or homeless from the merciless winter months. Those that have experienced the "Winter Shelter" personally will be present at this event to share their story and concerns. Representatives and board members from Volunteers of America will also be attending this very important gathering.
On Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 , a gospel concert combined of local artists and choirs will be held at Cal-Expo 1400 Exposition blvd Gate 9. Start's at 10am. There will be a live band and Praise Dance performances as well. The event will be streamed online and will be available for future viewing until January 2010. Sounds of Heaven is partnering with Volunteers of America in hopes to keep the "Winter Shelter" from meeting its demise. Collaborated efforts are also being directed towards the establishment of additional shelters both locally and abroad and to ensure that our future endeavors are efficient and successful. ** Proceeds will be donated to Volunteers of America. **
