Mission Statement

Julia's Coffee is a division of Habitat for Humanity Charlotte. Julia's exists not only to support Habitat, but also to create a place where the community can get a sustainable, conscientious cup of delicious coffee. Our certified organic beans are grown in El Salvador and are roasted locally in Durham. We pay above fair market (or Direct Trade) price per pound to ensure that workers are paid a living wage. We chose El Salvador not only for their high quality of shade grown coffee, but also because of Habitat Charlotte's close relationship with Habitat El Salvador. Finca Mauritania, where our coffee is grown, overlooks Santa Ana and hundreds of homes built in El Salvador with hands from Charlotte. This truly gives new meaning to the term "House Coffee".

Description
