A San Francisco based non-profit dedicated to reinstating music and art programs in bay area at need elementary schools.
Hip to Help was founded in the summer of 2007 when a group of friends realized the importance of becoming involved in their community. The organization is organized exclusively for the purpose of providing charitiable educational support to local elementary and/or secondary schools in the Bay Area, in order to promote art and music education. As college students, all originating from different regions of the west coast, their desire to make their new city a home, became apparent. Each individual expressed a large desire to give back and help those who were in a less fortunate educational and creative setting. With their shared past in music and art, giving back to their community, it became a clear Hip to Help would be able to service the music and art needs of the Bay Area.
