Mission Statement

The Keep it Clean Partnership is a partnership of Colorado communities in the Boulder and St. Vrain watersheds, and includes Boulder County; the cities of Boulder, Longmont, and Louisville; and the towns of Erie and Superior.

The primary goal of the Keep it Clean Partnership is to implement a regional stormwater management program, not only to comply with the federal Phase II stormwater regulations, but to also address broader water quality watershed issues. The Partners received their stormwater discharge permits from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment in March of 2003. The Keep it Clean Partnership uses a unique, collaborative approach to involve various levels of government, placing significant emphasis on cost-effectiveness by sharing programs and by using common strategies throughout the watershed.
