The mission of Lakeland Regional Medical Center's Healing Arts Program is to bring the healing power of the arts to patients, visitors and those who care for them.

Description

The Healing Arts Program integrates visual, literary and performing arts into the health care experience to enhance the treatment of patients at Lakeland Regional Medical Center and Cancer Center. Services provided include: workshops and bedside visits for patients and their families, renewal experiences for caregivers, and promoting a healing environment through music and visual art in public spaces. The heart of this program is a fundamental belief in the transformative power of the arts and its ability to improve people's lives.
