Mission Statement

The Black Talk Media Project is committed to creating family friendly media for at risk communities by utilizing new media technologies online and low powered FM terrestrial radio stations.

We will engage communities at the local level and train youth on new media technologies and how to utilize citizen journalism to impact issues in their communities.

Description

The Black Talk Media Project operates a news media website that offers videos and articles and online radio programming. Through our sister website Black Talk Radio Network found on the Ning platform, we promote independent grass roots radio and community blogging. We also offer job finding tools through our more than fifty Twitter accounts that publish jobs specific to States and U.S. territories.
