Mission Statement

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and permanently rehome, abandoned and displaced dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. We hope to teach by example kindness, compassion for all living creatures, and the responsibility of a lifelong commitment to our companion animals.

Description

SADSAC, which was founded in 1998, is a no kill, nonprofit, all volunteer animal rescue group. We have no physical shelter, so the majority of our dogs, and some of our cats, are homed with foster families until adoption. We hold adoptions every weekend at the Boynton Beach Petsmart at 335 N. Congress Ave., on Sat. 10-3 and Sun. 11-3. A number of our cats occupy the Petsmart Adoption Center 7 days a week. Most of our volunteer activities take place at the Boynton Beach Petsmart or in the greater Palm Beach County area. Our volunteers are all commited to making life better for every pet that comes into our care (and we have fun too!!).

SADSAC is composed of the most caring individuals; from our leader to the youngest volunteer, each is committed to the benefit of every pet that comes our way. The pets come first at SADSAC but there is plenty of love to go around to each other too. The volunteers who foster for us are so accommodating and caring, because of them we have been able to save countless lives and i look forward to volunteering because i know i am appreciated, make a difference, and am part of a great team that allows me to explore, grow and utilize my talents.
