Mission Statement

The mission of Mountain Hospice is to provice a comprehensive program for the residents of Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph and Tucker Counties in West Virginia, including physiological, psychological, social and spiritual comfort and care for the terminally ill individual, family and close friends.

Description

Mountain Hospice provides support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so that they may live as fully and as comfortably as possible.

Mountain Hospice serves terminally ill patients, families and friends in Barbour, Grant, Mineral, Pendleton, Pocahontas, Randolph and Tucker Counties. We have offices located in Belington, Elkins, Franklin, Davis, Marlinton and one opening soon in Keyser.

Our team consists of a medical director, nurses, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, social workers, chaplains, administrative and clerical staff and volunteers. We care for patients in their homes as well as in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, personal care homes and hospitals.
