Would you recommend Nutrition & Metabolism Society?

The Nutrition and Metabolism Society is one of the most informative and science based nutritional organizations I have ever come across. As a fitness professional I can think of no other org that I would recommend to find sound, honest and trustworthy nutritional information. Dr. Richard Feinman who heads the society is one of the most knowledgeable, sincere and generous people in the world of nutrition. I urge anyone who is serious about nutrition to join the society.

The Nutrition & Metabolism Society is dedicated to educating the public and health professionals about the science behind why obesity, diabetes, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, cancer, and other health epidemics exist. Unlike most nonprofit health groups these days, the N&M Society believes there are serious concerns about the high-carb, low-fat diet that has pervaded our culture for decades. That's why they back quality evidential research into the effectiveness of high-fat, carbohydrate-restricted diets so the general population and even physicians can stand to benefit from cutting-edge studies as they are performed. As a personal believer in the low-carb science message because it helped me shed 180 pounds in 2004, I cannot think of a better group to volunteer your time with and donate your money to than The Nutrition & Metabolism Society. Led by the great Dr. Richard Feinman, you will be hearing a lot more from them in the coming years as obesity and diabetes rates soar!
