Mission Statement

Dawgs on Deck aims to support the Women's Softball program at the University of Washington. Our mission in to help in the fundraising efforts toward supplementing the annual operating budget for the softball team. Our support directly affects the lives of the young women who have the opportunity to be student-athletes at the UW. These student-athletes will be our region's future leaders. They are destined to inspire the younger sports communities in the northwest.

Description

Established in 1999, the Dawgs on Deck team support group for the UW Softball team provides the support necessary for the softball program to continue competing for the national championship. The procurement of financial gifts to Husky softball help offset the costs of pre-conference travel to competitive tournaments, assistant coaches' salaries and expenses related to hosting a fall tournament. We are looking for a few motivated individuals to help us with our fundraising efforts this 2009-10 season. In addition - we are searching for someone to help us with recruiting top student-athletes around the country.
