Mission Statement

The mission of The Austin Project is to serve as a catalyst and broker for the education and services to be provided in the communities that we serve. The Austin Project promotes and monitors the research, resources, and evaluation frameworks needed for effective practices in the following areas: school improvement, students performance, digital opportunities, and health and social service preventative efforts.

Description

The Austin Project addresses problems at both the macro and the micro level. At the macro level, TAP is dedicated to reforming Austin's social service delivery system into an efficient and effective system where each community has access to all of the services they need. At a micro level, TAP partners with East Austin elementary schools to support academic achievement through extended learning programming, in-school programming, professional development, and tutoring programs.
