Many patients enjoy being read to from newspapers, magazines, novels or the bible. Share your interests & talent with things like singing, playing an instrument, massage, or crafting. These are just some of the ideas that volunteers make such a difference in patients lives! Hospice volunteering is flexible and so rewarding! Calling all Veterans! Looking for Veterans to visit with Veterans receiving hospice care. With the 'We Honor Veterans’ Program Veteran Volunteers visit with patients in their homes or in nursing homes to build that Veteran Bond! Volunteers can reminisce about their time of service, spend time listening and talking, and honoring our Veterans at the end of life. Full hospice training is provided.

Office Volunteers needed to help Caring Hospice Staff with daily tasks in our Fort Washington office. Helping out in the office is a great way to be in a social environment and still contribute to those receiving hospice care. This is the perfect opportunity for high school students or the retired person that does not want to sit at home all day! Times are flexible, and we are easy to get to from 309 or regional railways. Training provided.
