Description

The buildOn New York Leadership Committee provides a rewarding opportunity for young business professionals to lend valuable volunteer and fundraising support to empower youth throughout the U.S. Committees help raise funds, plan and run events, and work hands-on with buildOn students.

With a passion driven by the commitment and enthusiasm of buildOn students and teachers both far and wide, buildOn is seeking self-starters to invest their extra time by helping to:
•Increase public awareness and support of buildOn's global mission to empower youth and eliminate illiteracy.
•Support buildOn programs and services through fundraising events and networking opportunities.
•Volunteer for our myriad and frequent events such as weekend service projects with buildOn students and annual fundraising endeavors.

buildOn mixes volunteering with great people. I volunteered for them in the Bronx, helping put on an event for kids at a community center. Not only did I enjoy my time helping with the event, but I also really enjoyed meeting the other volunteers and staying in touch with them ever since.
