The Salvation Army, founded in 1865, is an international movement, is an evangelical part of the unversal Christian Church.

Our message is based on the bible. Our ministry is motivated by the Love of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet the human needs in his name without discrimination.

Description

The Itawamba County Salvation Army has been a part of Itawamba county since August 1999, with each passing year, we have become an important part of the community.

We provide an economical place to shop for name brand clothing at a cheap price. With this money and donations from people like yourself we are able to help the needy in Itawamba County.

We are able to provide:

utilities assistance ( water, power, gas)

medication, clothing and furniture, emergency lodging.

Camp Hidden Lake: Free camp for children ages: 7 -12

Angel Tree ( kids 1-13) Golden Angel ( elderly)

Thanksgiving Dinner for anyone in Itawamba County ( no matter what your income is) FREE!!
