Description

Come and be a part of history! The Air Force Marathon is an annual endurance event held the third Saturday of September at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. First held in 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Air Force, the Air Force Marathon has grown into a 13,500 participant event, with runners from all fifty states and many foreign countries.

It takes over 2,400 dedicated Flight Crew volunteers to ensure the Air Force Marathon takes off without a hitch! Our Flight Crew volunteers make this possible by giving their time with pre-race set-up, endless support during race weekend, and with post-race clean-up. There are opportunities for individuals and groups to help with shirt and packet pick-up at the Health & Fitness Expo, distributing water cups on race day, gear check, supporting the start and finish lines, and so much more!

I would like to volunteer for Expo Solution Center lead. I have read the description and believe that I will be useful to the runners and team members to keep things moving forward.
