Description

Support Group facilitators needed:

The facilitator is the overseer of the support groups. All facilitators must attend a training as outlined by the Program Director. The facilitator reports to the project director and is responsible for the support group implementation, and development.

1. Leads group sessions as directed by program director

2. Dispenses and collects research about support group members through suveys, and observational tecniques. Evaluates direction of support groups are moving and directs them them into productive ways encouraging members to interact and support each other. Maintains weekly contact with program director. Provides referrals whenever necessary. Maintains process notes. Empower, encourage, and instill hope as each group ends.
